The new appointments come on the back of six other appointments made earlier in the year and now fulfills the desire of the bank to find the best talent available to drive its revitalized business strategy. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KFH Malaysia, David Power, says 'I am delighted to welcome the following new executives into the top leadership team of the bank! Tengku Faradiza Binti Tengku Baharuddin, Senior Vice President Corporate Banking. Tengku Faradiza has extensive Wholesale banking experience that spans over 25 years. She graduated from the University of Wales, United Kingdom and has worked with a number of local and multinational banks which has given her a unique insight into the global financial services industry. Her knowledge and expertise in the corporate banking arena will enable KFH Malaysia to grow and enhance its business sustainably in this area.
Norashikin Binti Mohd Kassim, Executive Vice President, Treasury. An Actuary who graduated from Oxford University majoring in Mathematics. She joins KFH with over 23 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance and Capital Market which makes her one of the leading Islamic Banking practitioners in the country. Her extensive experience also covers areas such as Asset Management and Insurance. She is known as a significant contributor in the local Capital Market with one of the largest Sukuk organizations in Malaysia.
Azleena Binti Idris, Vice President, Legal. Azleena comes with over 20 years of experience in the banking industry in areas of legal, advisory and strategy. She was heavily involved in formulating the strategy and development of Bank Negara Malaysia policy on International Islamic Liquidity Management. She was also an in-house legal counsel for RHB before joining Bank Negara Malaysia in 2005. Azleena was with Bank Negara Malaysia for 12 years
Mark Peile, Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy. Mark is a CIMA-qualified Senior Financial Services Executive and his experience of working in the banking industry in Europe and Middle East shall bring significant global expertise in profit & loss and balance sheet management, communications, change management, performance management, operations, analytics and building high-performance teams. Graduated from University of Derby, Mark's 20 years of experience, will assist KFH Malaysia in aiding the Executive Leadership in charting the Bank's future growth in our chosen markets.
Liu Shoua Fan, Executive Vice Technology & Innovation. Liujoins KFH Malaysia with more than 35 years of global experience in the international banking industry. Shoua's key skill set focusses on Six Sigma process re-engineering in both front and back office. His main focus in KFH will be to build world class processes and assisting the bank to become SIMPLER ' BETTER - FASTER. His areas of expertise cover Operations, IT and Corporate Banking and his excellent track record around the world was key in his selection to help KFH Malaysia significantly improve the customer experience and journey.
André van Iersel, Executive Vice President of Human Resources. André completed his Master's Degree in Organizational Psychology from universities in The United States and the Netherlands. At KFH Malaysia, he commenced as the advisor to the CEO and was actively involved with the internal transformation programme ' INSPIRE - for the Bank. Prior to advising KFH Malaysia he was engaged at the Group level in KFH Kuwait from 2014. Apart from his hands-on experience in the most senior HR roles, he is strongly motivated in assisting the well-being of the people agenda in an organization. His focus is to provide emphasis on the people management for KFH Malaysia, which is also in line with the Bank's aspirations of making KFH Malaysia a "Great Place to Work and a Great Place to Bank"!
